Overview

Hair loss has many causes: genetics, stress, thyroid problems, nutrition, scalp infections and some medicines. Treating it well starts with finding out which one applies to you.

Diagnosis before treatment

At your first visit we examine the scalp, look at the pattern of loss and, where needed, suggest blood tests. Many patients improve with medical treatment and scalp care alone.

Hair and beard transplant

For advanced or permanent loss, we plan a natural hairline that suits your face and age. Healthy follicles are moved from the back of the scalp to thinning areas. Most patients return to work within a few days, and new growth starts showing around the fourth month.

Transplanted hair sheds in the first few weeks, which is expected. New growth starts around the fourth month, with fuller results over the following months.
